(NTPAI) conducted an Oath-Taking Ceremony and Onboarding for Newly Hired Plantilla and Contractual Employees on October 19, 2026, at the IBM Boardroom, marking an important step in welcoming new personnel into the College community.
The activity aimed to formally induct newly hired employees into the association and orient them on their roles, responsibilities, and membership. It also strengthened camaraderie, promoted professional collaboration, and fostered a sense of belonging among non-teaching personnel.
The program opened with a prayer, followed by the opening remarks of Ms. Maria Socorro T. Bonita, NTPAI President, who welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of unity and active participation in the association.
During the oath-taking ceremony, Ms. Bonita, as the inducting officer, administered the oath to four newly hired personnel. The oath-takers were Cherry Lou L. Joining the onboarding activity was Atty. Joseph L. Garcia, Attorney IV of the Legal Office, who participated in the orientation alongside the newly hired personnel.
The orientation and onboarding session was facilitated by Engr. Eleonor L. Navales, Chair of the Membership Committee, who guided the participants through matters concerning association membership and helped familiarize them with the organization and its objectives.
The activity concluded with an open forum, providing participants an opportunity to raise questions and clarify concerns, followed by the closing remarks. Ms. Marie Angeli D. Hagutin, CHRA, MA-HRD, served as the emcee of the program.
Through this initiative, the NTPAI reaffirmed its commitment to welcoming new members, strengthening professional relationships, and fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among NBSC’s non-teaching personnel.
